Volunteer

Lynn has Volunteered with the Sidewalk Project since February 2008, since that time she has become the only member of the staff to have been off for maternity leave, congrats on the arrival of Baby Angus. Lynn is an enthusiastic member of the Sidewalk staff team, is up for a challenge and loves talking with and listening to young people.

Christine is the newby of the team, who along with Pamela completed the recent training at The Riverside church in October 2009, she has done youthwork in the past with Perth YMCA and also helps out with the Cre8 girls group at Perth Riverside church. Christine recently returned from a 3 week holiday in New Zealand where she visited her son and is no doubt in climate shock given the freezing conditions she has returned to.  Before her holiday Christine completed a couple of sessions and was pleasantly surprised by the number of young people she knew from her experiences previously, there is no doubt that she will be a valuable asset to the Sidewalk team.

Pete completed the Sidewalk Training in 2010, and has been out regularly on the streets since, he is a student at the YMCA and is studying, like Pamela, at International Christian College in Youthwork & Applied Theology. He is from Glossop in Derbyshire and keen to stand up for the oppressed, he is a keen drummer and plays video games. He has a keen interest in Canadian culture.
